The importance of putting

How often do you practise your putting?  Not often enough is most often the answer.  Everytime I go to the practise green at Northwick Park I am very surprised if there is more than one golfer there.  Yet when I return to the golf range, all 56 bays can be full.  For serious improvement, you should be practising on the putting green twice weekly.  Practise your long range putting, short range putting and green reading.  Everytime you play a round, note down how many putts you took and periodically review your statistics.  Make your future practise specific to past statistics.  Your practice will directly lead to lower scores.
